Bea Arthur 86, passed away Saturday in her Los Angeles home with her family at her side. She had cancer.

Bea was first famous for her role in All In The Family as Edith’s outspoken liberal cousin Maude. Archie Bunker (Carroll O’Connor) and Maude Finley had some of the most heated exchanges in television history. Bea also starred in the Golden Girls as well as winning a Tony Award for the musical “Mame“.  

We’ll sure miss the witty and brilliant Bea Arthur and her “tell it how it is” attitude in her characters. So Long Maude!
