Soon the Cap and Trade Bill will become law. It will make energy companies have to buy expensive permits to produce carbon emissions.

While burdening all of America with higher energy bills, the new law will bring windfall profits for ‘hand selected companies.’

One of which is owned in part by Al Gore. Another is Goldman Sachs who has just reported record earnings. Goldman is a part owner of the exchange where carbon allowances would be traded.

Known also as Cap and Tax’ – the new bill is basically a well disguised middle class tax hike. Lower income families can expect to receive monies to help meet the new cost of living.

As far as upper income families who might have an easier time paying, don’t worry, the new American style gov’t (of the Socialist ilk) has their eye on your pocket book, your car, you home, your land, and maybe even your dog, too.

Even Lib-talk icon Lou Dobbs is casting a watchful eye over the situation.

While opposition is also mounting against the President within his own party on healthcare reform.

With the economy still going south, the auto industry in the tank, employment reaching new lows each month–opposition has been building within the Democrat Party against Obama’s bill that would see the government taking over management of the Nation’s healthcare.

A U.S. Army Reserve major has had his orders to deploy to Afghanistan revoked after questioning President Obama’s eligibility to serve as Commander-in-Chief.

The soldier from Florida had been scheduled to ship out within days.

His lawyer, Orly Taitz, has argued that he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his eligibility for office.

“We won! We won before we even arrived,” the attorney is quoted as saying. “It means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that the military has directly responded by saying Obama is illegitimate – and they cannot fight it. Therefore, they are revoking the order!”

Former President slick Bill Clinton was inducted into a black fraternity as an honorary member this week. The fraternity Phi Beta Sigma founded in 1914 at Howard University in Washington has more than 150,000 alumni in about 500 chapters throughout the world.

Other members of this frat include Stevie Wonder, Al Roker and lets not forget the man Phi Beta Sigma should be most proud to have as a member the Rev. Al Sharpton.

After engaging in a little diplomacy, Brazilan butt style, Barack Obama and his wife Michelle head back to the US.

In case you were at the beach, the biggest accomplishment of Barack’s trip was that he managed not to be in a “meaningful” picture with Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi.

The President also signed a piece of paper with Russia to do with nuclear arms reduction, but that didn’t compare. Especially because, just like Silvio absent from the picture, China was not involved.
