The long troubled Corey Haim, who shot to stardom in the movie The Lost Boys, was found dead this morning in LA. The apparent cause was an overdose. He was 30-years-old.
It’s a shame that so many stars love to preach to us about everything from how war is unnecessary–to how we should wipe our ass properly, yet they overlook the drug problem. The time needs to come that they start promoting good clean living.

Without needing a single Republican vote to pass health care legislation, President Obama, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, still couldn’t do it.
Once the American people learned that it would be funded by massive cuts in Medicare and new taxes, they were able to sway enough representatives in order to temporarily kill the bill.
While the Democrats relentless push to pass the legislation, along with out of control gov’t spending, has been credited with the GOP grabbing the governorships of New Jersey, Virginia–and even the Senate seat of Liberal Lion and longtime champion of socialized medicine, Teddy Kennedy.
Given the election results and the unpopularity of the bill, it should be dead in the water.
But today Barak Obama stated that he ”wants a simple up or down vote” — which in unpopular terms means that he is willing to trigger the “nuclear option”. It requires only 51 votes in the Senate, as opposed to the usual 60–to get a bill through.
Whether or not the bill becomes law, look for Obama and Congress’s approval numbers to plummet to abyss-like levels.

Russian chimpanzee, Zhora, has been sent to rehab by zookeepers. He has a problem with both smoking and drinking beer.
“The beer and cigarettes were ruining him. He would pester passers-by for booze,” reported the Russian news, Pravda.
Given Zhora’s sudden fame, groupies across the globe are jetting over to Russia to f–k him. A few are even hoping for a marriage proposal from the chimp.
On another note–word is that New York Rep. Louise Slaughter was going to use Zhora’s treatment to show how the Russian health care system is better than the one in the United States.
Instead she opted to cite a story about a woman wearing her dead sister’s dentures, because it was even more f–king stuuuuuupid!!! (Just like the health care reforms being pushed by Obama and the Dems, which will destroy the world’s great health care system.)
