The latest dirt on the NBC late night soap is that Conan O’Brien and his staff will receive a total of $40 million for losing “The Tonight Show”, $32.5 mil will go to Conan.

Sounds good for Conan except that NBC is playing hardball and will offset any money that he makes on the remainder of his contract making O’Brien’s payout alot less.

NBC will also keep the property rights to Conan’s creations like “Triumph the Insult Comic Dog” and the “Masturbating Bear“.

Way to go NBC, talk about giving Conan O’Brien the shaft in the ass…
