After being asked about the thousands of hacked emails that seem to point to climate change being a hoax, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said, “ . . . several thousand scientists have come to the conclusion that climate change is happening. I don’t think that’s anything that is, quite frankly, among most people–in dispute anymore.”

Then radio host Lester Kinsolving of WCBM in Baltimore, cited a list of 31,000 scientist that oppose the idea of global warming, 6,000 of which are PhDs.

“I don’t doubt that there’s such a list, Lester,” Gibbs responded. “I think there’s no real scientific basis for the dispute of this.”

Huh??? Gibbs has a bad case of selective hearing.

If this is the White House’s attitude toward the climate science scandal unraveling across the globe, especially as Obama heads to Copenhagen for the Climate Treaty signing next week, look for the American people to lose more faith in the President’s leadership.

Failure to properly address this scam will also cast further doubt over the health care debate.
